The first Christmas of Hotel Pousada Real ****
After 2 years of work, finally our project became a 4 star hotel located at the foot of the Camino de Santiago.

We knew from the beginning that for our project to materialize several Christmases and many, many hours of work would pass.
Really and to express it in pilgrim terms, it has not been a easy way to get here but it has been exciting and motivating. Neither has it been a solo path. We have been accompanied by many people who are already part of the family of the Pousada Real Hotel. All the professionals who have passed through here have left their mark and all these traces together have materialized in what we are today.
There is no doubt that once we opened the doors, the people who are part of the hotel team are responsible for being witness and begin to welcome our guests. They are the ones who day after day make us a small and cozy hotel in which pilgrims of the Camino de Potugués and visitors of Caldas de Reis, feel welcome comfortable while enjoying a restful rest.

We want to thank everyone for their total commitment to the hotel and especially to the guests. They are wonderful hosts and we feel very fortunate.
And what would a hotel be without its guests?
Since August 10, the day on which we opened our doors, pilgrims and walkers of all nationalities have passed through the hotel. Wonderful people who arrive simply looking for a comfortable place to take a hot bath, to snack on something and to collapse on a good mattress to resume their journey at dawn after an energetic breakfast. We have learned a lot from them and we hope that everyone will have a good memory of their night in the fourth stage of the Portuguese Way.
But not only have pilgrims come to the Hotel Pousada Real, families with children visiting Caldas de reis have also stayed overnight in our hotel , executives who come for business to the villa, couples who make a getaway to know the area, … And that is because We are found in a place with such history and a natural environment so unique that it is worth approaching this area of the Rías Baixas.
